Nottinghamshire Police were called at around 8.35pm on Wednesday 1 June 2016 to Russell Road in Forest Fields, Nottingham, following a report of a serious assault.
Upon attendance a man in his twenties was found to have suffered a serious injury believed to have been caused by a knife.
The man was subsequently taken to Queen’s Medical Centre where he has subsequently died from his injuries.
Investigating officers are treating the incident as a murder investigation and are keen for anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
