Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly assaulted twice on Glossop High Street.
At around 11pm on Friday, October 31, a 23-year-old man was stood outside the Howard Arms on High Street East, Glossop when he was approached by another man.
The pair began talking before the offender turned and hit the victim in the side of the head. He then ran off.
Later that evening, at around 2am on Saturday, November 1, the 23-year-old victim was stood outside Yummy’s takeaway when he punched in the head from behind and fell to the ground.
As he stood up, he recognised the man from the alleged assault earlier that evening. A fight then broke out between the two.
The victim sustained significant injuries and attended hospital as a precaution.
