Daniel Kirkwood murder four men charged to appear in court ukcri.me/61271

Detectives investigating the death of Daniel Kirkwood at a Coventry nightclub have this evening (Thursday 19 March) charged four men with murder.

Unemployed Saker Shireen Khan, 24, of Belchers Lane, Small Heath in Birmingham; unemployed Hasham Muqtaz Ali, 18, of Amberley Green, Great Barr in Birmingham; unemployed Ramez Murtaza, 20, of Bordesley Green East, Bordesley Green in Birmingham; and unemployed Tobijah Thompson, 24, of no fixed address, are also charged with wounding.

All will appear before Coventry Magistrates Court this morning.

Daniel was found collapsed outside the Society club, on Tower Street, at 2am on Sunday 15 March with a stab wound to the neck.

He was later pronounced dead in hospital.

A post mortem examination confirmed he had died from a single neck wound.

Another 18-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the back, while a 17-year-old lad was also slashed across the arm with a knife.
