A murder enquiry has been launched after a teenager was killed during a disturbance at a Coventry nightclub.
Police and ambulance crew were called to Society nightclub in Tower Street at 2am this morning (March 15) in response to reports of disorder inside the venue.
An 18-year-old man from Coventry was found fatally injured outside the club and later pronounced dead in hospital.
Another 18-year-old is in hospital with serious injuries, while a 17-year-old was also hurt.
Tower Street is expected to remain closed for most of today while forensics experts scour the scene for evidence.
West Midlands Police is appealing for anyone who was in Society nightclub last night and who witnessed the disorder to contact detectives in the Homicide Team at Harborne police station on the 101 number.
